Wendell & Wild is Henry Selick and Jordan Peele's stop-motion film for Netflix, about two demon brothers trying to sneak their way into the Land of the Living. I worked with Netflix on the title logo.
Stop motion has this handmade, slightly wobbly quality, where you can almost see the fingerprints on the clay, and I wanted the lettering to carry that too. At the same time, it needed the sharp, mischievous angles of the two brothers. So the letters are soft and a little lumpy, but always with a pointy edge, like they're up to something.
