Colorform is a watch face for the Pixel Watch 4, made with Google. Six months of drawing, testing, researching and (let’s be honest) a lot of staring at numbers.
The idea was kind of simple and kind of insane: take the most manual part of lettering and turn it into a system. 29 hand-drawn numbers. More than 1,500 possible combinations. Basically a clock that refuses to repeat itself. Every minute looks a little different.
The same bold, bubbly, very emotional language ended up escaping the screen too, and landed on a special Pride band designed alongside the interface. Turns out bubbly numbers look good on a wrist, too.
