Apple Music invited me to create the cover art for two of its playlists: Pop Hits: Brazil and its sister playlist, Pure Throwback. Each one has its own mood and its own crowd, so the idea was to give each playlist a world of its own, one you'd recognize at a glance while still feeling like Apple Music.

Pure Throwback goes loud. Inspired by late '90s and early 2000s pop culture, it's a mess of sticker-like illustrations, bright colors and nostalgic symbols, just as chaotic as a playlist where every song is someone's favorite memory.

Pop Hits: Brazil turns up the heat with tropical colors, bouncy typography and illustrations inspired by local music, fashion and street culture. Basically, Brazilian pop in cover form.
